College and University Section - User Education CommitteeCollege and University Section - User Education Committee
The function of the User Education committee is to promote information literacy as an educational goal, and to support the development and pursuit of excellence of library user education programs. The committee committee meets on a regular basis and produces professional development programs on teaching and learning in libraries, disseminates information about information literacy and user education, and serves as a forum for the discussion of issues relating to information literacy.

Sep. 11 (Joint meeting with VALE SIL Committee at Monmouth U. Library, Seminar Room)
Oct. 16 (Rider U., Shapiro Board room in the Student Recreation Center) Nov. 20 (Passaic County Community College) Dec. 11 (Joint meeting with VALE SIL Committee at Rutgers U. The meeting will be via videoconference locations in Camden, New Brunswick and Newark.) For 2010: Feb. 12, Mar. 19, April. 16, June 18 (Centenary College), July 16. IF anyone likes to offer your campus for the future meetings, please let us know.
