Visit the One Book New Jersey website!
One Book New Jersey is an exciting program that libraries and their partners will promote across the state. The goal is to bring people together through literature by encouraging them to read the same book and participate in discussions and other events centered on that book. One Book New Jersey celebrates reading, literacy, and all that New Jersey's libraries do.
One Book New Jersey is presented by the New Jersey Library Association in collaboration with and funded by the New Jersey State Library, which is responsible for the coordination, promotion, and funding of the New Jersey Library Network. One Book New Jersey receives notable support and participation from the Public Relations Committee, the Readers Advisory Roundtable, the Children's Services Section, and the Young Adult Section.
On the OBNJ website, you will find a multitude of resources to help you to plan and advertise your One Book Programs, to create displays and readers advisory materials with various booklists, and to accumulate prizes and give-aways for your library. More information and news can be found on the OBNJ Message Board. Feel free to leave a note on the Message Board with any comments, suggestions, or OBNJ news of your own!
