Looking for the latest news about libraries? Go to Google News and type in keywords such as "public libraries" or "library funding" or "New Jersey libraries." You can find a lot of good information that way.

The Small Libraries Roundtable will sponsor two programs at NJLA this spring:

Are You Being Spread Too Thin? Join psychologist Eileen Kennedy-Moore for a discussion on how to balance the multiple demands on our energies and the many different hats we must wear.  (Wednesday, April 29th at 11:30 am)

Firefox and Other Free Web Tools: Practical Technology Tips for Small Libraries. (cosponsored with IT Section) Few small libraries are lucky enough to have a dedicated IT staffer or generous technology budget. But it's surprising how much you can do "on the cheap," with limited skills and money. Join popular library technology blogger Jessamyn West for this practical double session. The second hour will be a "show and tell," so bring your own cheap, quick & dirty technology tips to share with your fellow librarians. (Tuesday, April 28th, 3:30 - 5:20 pm)
