NJLA Mentor Program

The NJLA Mentor Program matches new librarians and MLS students with more experienced librarians. We hope that the wisdom and experience of involved librarians will inspire mentees to develop and explore their professional skills and abilities.

Participation in the Mentor Program will give you the opportunity to express your opinions, network, and seek career guidance. Communicate by email, phone or in person; the choice is yours.

If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee we encourage you to apply (see forms below.)

Looking for career guidance or just library job sites?  See this Professional Development Libguide for library career information and articles on interviewing, resumes and more.  Click HERE for a comprehensive list of job sites for Librarians in New Jersey.
