Important Policy Initative

The User Education Committee and the VALE Shared Information Literacy Committee are committed to a joint effort to promote the inclusion of information literacy in the curriculum. The Progression Standards for Information Literacy are designed to provide educators in NJ with a common framework for planning general education programs that prepare students to conduct research and manage information. The Progression Standards are intended especially as a tool for easing the transition of students from the Community Colleges to Baccalaureate programs.

For more information about the Progression Standards, visit the page of the Progression Standards Task Force,.
