Young Adult Services Section
The Young Adult Services Section strives to prepare and present current, quality programming pertaining to service to teens at the NJLA Annual Conference, the New Jersey Association of School Librarians Annual Conference and at the annual Youth Services Forum. The section’s primary goal, however, is to read and evaluate YA books for inclusion on the Garden State Teen Book Awards ballot, to prepare and distribute the ballot, gather and tally votes cast by New Jersey readers, and honor the winners at the Garden State Luncheon in June. The next meeting will be on May 17 at South Brunswick Public Library. Coffee and snacks will be served at 9:30 a.m., meeting at 10:00 a.m.
